The year of 2003, the presence of HIV positive people in the national conference of INP+ (Indian network of People Living with HIV/AIDS), gave birth to a passion among the Gujarat representatives to form a body in their state, called ‘State Network’. With this formation they dreamt of giving existence to those PLHIVs, who have lost their dignity or self-esteem somewhere in the hand of stigma and discrimination.

    Their dream came into the existence on 6th February, 2003, when they finally registered a body with the name of Gujarat State Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (GSNP+). GSNP+ started working from the scratch, and made some footmarks which kept it sustained for most challenging next 2-3 years.
